• Welcome to my blog

Hi. I'm a recent UC Berkeley graduate as well as amateur photographer. I use this blog to not only promote my portfolio work, but I also use it as a scrapbook; it consists of my daily musings, rants, as well as photos I take of strangers, animals, friends, clothes...anything that I enjoy capturing in a moment. I hope you like it and stop by more often!

  • Another successful day at Japantown. We had delicious food, took sticker pictures, met up with an old friend, and ooh'd and awe'd over the cutest toys.

The Japantown trip left us really tired, but we ended up catching the late showing of Snow White & the Huntsman. I actually thought it was okay, but it's not something I'd watch again (I don't think).

    How's your weekend going?
I'm trying to make the most of it because it will be my last moments of freedom...I don't want to start work on Monday.

    Max

This week will be my last moments of freedom before I start work. So far, I've fallen down some stairs and still have a sprained ankle from weeks ago. My luck just hasn't been turning up.

I need a lot of TLC.

Last Thursday, I was fortunate enough to celebrate my 22nd birthday with my friends (with the exception of Arielle) and family. I think it was the first time that the majority of my roommates were in the Bay Area (usually they go home immediately after finals, which occurs in the middle of May). That there already made everything great.

Before dinner, Gracie and I went to Happy Hour at Elephant Bar. It was nice to unwind after weeks of stress from finals, graduating, moving out, and moving in.

We had dinner at Revival Bar & Kitchen. I wanted to have my birthday dinner at a classy place because 22 marks the time in my life when I've graduated from college, going to start a job in the city, and am just becoming a "real person". The food and drinks were good. It was a bit pricey, but I hope everyone else liked it.

Afterwards, we caught the midnight showing of MIB III. I had a couple of drinks beforehand so I kinda fell asleep at the beginning, but I managed to wake up towards the middle and enjoy the rest. It was a nice end to the day.
